I’ve looked all over the net for some answers but I still can’t get an idea of this relationship. When did it start? How much exactly did carrier companies benefit from this? How much did mobile phone companies benefit? Vodafon once sold 50 000 preordered iPhones on the first day of sales. That’s gotta be some kind of gold mine for them.
A lot of people have been struggling with websites since the Google Panda Update, one website however did really well they made $2 billion off of it. Guess who it was?

Hi,
I am doing a research for which i need to list the top mobile marketing “agencies”, when i Google it, the top results are mobile marketing “companies“, What is the difference between an agency and a company? What difference would it make if I list the top companies because top agencies somehow are not easy to find =(

Both an agency and company will be able to meet your needs. A great mobile marketing company is Text Ripple. Www.textripple.com. They work with a variety of industries and offer many different advertising strategies that they customize to the client. You should sign up for a free quote and they’ll answer any other questions you have!

..in magazines their content (ringtones, wallpapers, contests, games) etc? I’m doing a term paper about the degree of mobile phone content marketing in Bangladesh. Here in Thailand there’s TONS of mobile ringtone adverts, almost 40% of every magazine is just flooded. What about BD? Thanks.
Russell, to confirm, you’re talking about Bangladesh? Also, are they from many different companies or do they look direct from mobile operators? Thanks again, everyone.
I’d say 70% of the magazines are full of ads related to mobile phone stuff — new packages, ring tones, games, etc.
Edit: Yes I’m talking about Bangladesh. They are mostly from different content providing companies giving full page colour ads on newspapers, supplementaries and magazines, and the mobile operators advertise themselves as well. Too many ads on newspapers, covering half of the frontpage of major newspapers everyday.
